Grade FN Year 1997 Publisher Awesome

This is a mid grade item. It will have enough minor defects that it is in clearly worse condition than a brand new freshly published comic, magazine, or book. Allowed defects for this grade include: a spine split of less than half an inch, minor water spotting or other residue, impacted corners, and an accumulation or spine stresses that may break color. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor defects or one or two moderate defects.

Variant Cover by Stephen Platt and Norm Rapmund. Story by Jeph Loeb and Rob Liefeld. Art by Rob Liefeld, Stephen Platt, Jon Sibal and Joe Weems V. After leaving the Captain America series during the Heroes Reborn crossover, artist Rob Liefeld had pages of art featuring a patriotic superhero. So he licensed the other patriotic superhero created by Joe Simon & Jack Kirby, and the Fighting American returned from obscurity. FA is joined by other familiar-looking characters, including S.P.I.C.E., General Smash and the Roarin\' Roughnecks, and superhero team The Allies. 32 pages, Full Color.
