DISPOSING(SLOWLY) OF A VERY LARGE, LIFELONG COLLECTION OF POCKET

NOTE - no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos.

Had quite a few Wostenholm’s go through my hands over the years and this is the only one I have ever seen with this type of scale. Believe this dates to the early 20thor late 19thCentury.

Measures approximately 3 inches long overall, closed. Primary blade measures approximately 1 5/8 inches long, edge only. Tang stamped “I*XL George Wostenholm Sheffield England”. Obverse blade stamped “I*XL”. Reverse tang stamped “Oil the Joints”. Secondary blade measures approximately 1 3/8 inches long, edge only. Obverse tang with identical stamp to main blade. “Acetate” scales secured by three pins. Brass liners. Good snap to both blades. Scales with surface scratching. Scale ends showing wear on both sides. Scratching and light staining to both blades. Staining to spring.
