From my personal collection, here is a rare early example of the GEC 23 Pioneer pattern in turquoise jig bone. Great Eastern Cutlery made 5 of these in 2011. The knife features gorgeous turquoise jigged bone covers with both bolster and end cap in brass. It is 4.5 inches closed and has a single drop point blade. There are light scratches on the blade's show side and a blade rub blemish on the pile side. I tested for blade play and felt (but did not see) very slight movement. The blade etch is crisp with no fade. The knife has never been used to cut. Please look at all photos, as they are part of the description. (Due to the blade's mirror polish, you will see reflections of my kitchen cabinets.) I will include a document printed from GEC's website with production totals that verify only 5 of this knife were made. I purchased the knife several years ago from Frank's Classic Knives and will include the wooden magnetic knife stand included, as well as the packing slip. Shipping to the continental USA only.
