Death Penny/Plaque and medals

Arthur Henry Ford Private 27547 7th Battalion Border Regiment

All in great condition for their age

Pte Ford died on 13th February 1917 aged just 20 years old.

At the time of his death, he was attached to the Border Regiment. His medical card shows he had previously been in the Essex Regiment.

Please note that the photos of the paperwork in the listing are not originals. They were screenshot from the war Graves Commission site. If required, I will print these for the buyer.

I always sell my badges/medals etc in good faith, I will only list them as genuine if I am 100% sure it is. Likewise, if I know it is a restrike, I will list it as such. I take care to send all items in the condition buyers expect, and all items posted are the items in the photographs. From time to time, accidents/mistakes can happen. I endeavour to post items out on the same or the next day after payment. I use Royal Mail, and there have been some delays due to industrial action. Tank you in advance for your understanding and patience. I always retain proof of postage.

In respect of payments, I do not mind giving people a few days to make payment. However, after 4 days, if payment is not forthcoming and there has been no contact, I will cancel the order.

Unless stated, I post all items Royal Mail 2nd Class. If you need something sooner, let me know, and I will upgrade your postage at cost.
