This beautiful figurine was manufactured inGermany by Scheibe-Alsbach around 1890. It is 14" tall and 7" wide. The bust is unsigned; however, theworkmanship is authentic.The girl and her cat are beautifully crafted with lots of finedetails. The bisque texture is perfect for the girl’s complexion.The girl’s hair and the cat are painted and glazed, contrasting against herskin. The hand painting is expertly done. The face is charming and little gold buttons and drop earrings of gold are lovelyaccents. Her hands are delicately formed. There is a fringe of lacearound her shoulders. The button in the back has come undone and herdress is falling off. You will fall in love with this figurine each timeyou look at it.
