German WW II leather Y straps for cartridge pouches andbackpack carry. These are leather and have the extra strap that hooks to thefront connectors on backpacks and rucksacks carried by al German ground forces.This would also hook to the small assault pack.

Unsure if these were used in WW II but are the same stylethat was. Not having WaA stamps makes me believe these may be postwar, or period altered WW II strap. May have been worn by German border guard forces (GSG9) thatmaintained use of the original German helmets, Y straps, and other WW II equipment. Set 1.

These show normal field use and are still in good conditionfor display or use in War games. Hard to find in any condition.
