German WW2 Original Relic Elite Nordland Grouping (All From Same Trench) Kurland:

Up for sale we have an amazing group of German WW2 relics recovered from a trench in the Kurland pocket used by the WSS Nord Land division.
Everything in this grouping was found in the same trench/bunker. The dig site was located in the Priekule area of Latvia. Included with this group are several laminated printouts that detail the history of the division, and they also show a few photos of the actual dig where these relics came from.
Interestingly the mess tin lid has some trench art on it from one of the Nord Land soldiers. From what I can see it reads 'III Jäger'. It looks like more was written, but unfortunately age and corrosion have obstructed the rest.
A really amazing relic is the section of SS uniform. Uniform remains rarely survive after being buried for so long, but this section has been preserved quite nicely. As expected it has many holes and quite a bit of dirt still on it from being buried.
The leather relics are quite fragile, and are no longer supple. The ointment tube still has some of its contents.
