HUGE MODERN PLANTER/ART SCULPTURE WILLY GUHL CASE STUDY SPACE AGE BOFFI EAMES 70:
$12500.00

Monumental Modernist Center-Piece Planter, Round, White.

This stunning modern saucer planter came from a mid century modern California estate filled with 1950s/1960s/1970s design where it was prominently displayed at the center of a modernist courtyard (see pictures). This exceptionally beautiful indoor or outdoor planter features a low profile saucer on a tall pedestal base.Incredible quality. More art sculpture than planter. Made entirely of Corian (not concrete). Corian is one of the most expensive materials available and is usually reserved for expensive Italian furniture (Boffi, Poggenpohl, AntonioLupi, etc).Looks stunning with succulents as pictured. This unusually beautiful planters stands 32" tall and measures 40" in diameter. Features a hole at the center for drainage (so best used outdoors). Presents beautifully without any damage whatsoever apart from being previously being used as planter as pictured. A modern design classic. Fits very well in any modern- and space age gardens setting. Possibly a one-off custom made piece.Art. Sculpture. Design: all in one.
