This daguerreotype features a handsome light eyed young gentleman with long sideburns wearing a lighter colored hat with a black trim. He also wore a textured double breasted jacket and his face was tinted.

The 1/6 plate has its original seals and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself.
