This Huge Viking replica is absolutely stunning with a rich wooden construct. You can actually see the darkened wood pattern. Just Beautiful! The leather edge is immaculate and shield boss adorns the center of the shield. The back is finished in wood with an adjustable leather arm strap and leather handle. Also included is a shoulder strap for easy carry. The sheer size of this shield is impressive with a diameter of 30 inch and it is 3/4 inch thick. Not only were Viking shields used in battle but they were also placed in shield racks on ships to protect the people inside.
