Huge Lot of 2,000+, 2 Pounds, MOP, Mother of Pearl Shell Vintage Buttons, 4-Hole:

This listing is for 2,000+ vintage Mother of Pearl, MOP, antique sewing buttons. There are exactly 2 pounds of buttons in this lot. The majority of these buttons range in size from 3/8inch (15L 10mm) to 5/8inch (24L 15mm). I'm sure there are some smaller and larger ones that slipped in, but for the most part you will get sizes somewhere in between the measurements listed above.
These are all 4-hole buttons but I did notice a tiny amount of 2-holes got mixed in. So I cannot guarantee all are 4-hole. These buttons have had the threads removed (the only buttons with thread are those that are identical and bundled together). The majority of these buttons are white/ivory/brownish/light in color.
The pictures shown reflect a giant container filled with these buttons. Please look at all pictures carefully. You will receive a 2 pounds of the buttons shown in the pictures. I'm sure some of the buttons have some damage to them which is why I have included more than the 2,000 buttons noted above. These buttons appear to be in good condition but please be aware that they are antiques so each button will be slightly different than the other.
I have 10,000's of MOP buttons in various sizes and am trying to figure out the best way possible to sell them. These will be shipped in a flat rate priority mail envelope with lots of bubble wrap to protect the buttons in transit. Payment is expected within 3 days of close of sale, I ship quickly. I am happy to combine shipping for any of my listings that also say shipping can be combined. I always include some additional buttons as a way of saying thank you for your purchase.

This account was created to sell my 82 year old Mom's vintage button and sheet music collection. She has been collecting buttons and sheet music for decades. Currently, I have over 1,000 pounds of buttons to sell and 1,000's of pieces of sheet music. She enjoyed sorting buttons by material and shape to find all the buttons that matched each other. She also liked to clean them and cut all the threads off. She never did anything else with the buttons, just sorted them for fun. Her collection is vast and full of some really neat buttons. I am NOT a button expert but am going to try my best to sell them based on how she has them sorted.
