This famous icon presently residing in basilica of Christ's Birth in Bethlehem is famous for uncountable miracles. It's age is uncertain, however it's one of the oldest famous icons. The icon is known as "Smiling" Mother of God because it's probably the only canonical depiction of St. Mary with baby Jesus, where she is smiling. Formerly owned by Russian imperial family.
