Here Is a Beautiful LARGE 9.3 OZ. Rare Fluorescent North Carolina Sphalerite in Barite.
This Rare Specimen came out of an old collection from the 1950\'s and I can\'t find these for sale anywhere else. I\'ve looked all over.It\'s also one of the Brightest we have.
These were mined from an unknown mine before the 1950\'s near Hot Springs, North Carolina.
We have a small amount of these and not many of this quality with this amount of Fluorescent Coverage.
If you like Bright Fluorescent Specimens then you will love the Intense Glow of these. It is some of the brightest UV Minerals I\'ve seen.
These will Glow and Look like Lava with a Long wave UV Light but no where as Bright as seen in the Picture\'s that we took with the 365 nm Convoy UV Light.
The 365 nm Convoy UV Light can be found online and we Recommend it Highly to see these Beautiful Stones to their Full Color Potential.
We have found the Convoy Lights as cheap as $25 with the charger included.
This Specimen measures 4 1/2 inches long, 2 3/4 inches at the widest and 1 inch at the tallest.
Color Will vary depending on the type of UV light used. We also included a picture under natural lighting.
