\'This beautiful trinket box was inspired by Joan\'s original Faberge piece, circa 1903. Depicted rising from the ashes, the mythical \"Phoenix\" has traditionally been associated with hope and renewal. The symbolism with Cupid astride the Phoenix is love revived.\'
It is metal with peach colored enamel and is lavishly adorned in gold Cupid and Phoenix Bird and richly detailed in Repousse gold overall.
This box measures 3\" in diameter and, with its top on, 1 1/8\" high with Joan\'s signature etched on its bottom. The lid will screw on firmly with a counter clockwise rotation.
This is \'new old stock\' as it has been packed away since purchased. In perfect condition. Romance card included.
