35th President of the United States JOHN F. KENNEDY exceptional oversized 14\" x 18\" black & white cigar portrait signed, almost certainly as President. In the portrait, a jubilant JFK is seen lighting a stogie. Kennedy inscribes the portrait on the mat board, \"To Jay Spencer with every good wish – John Kennedy.\"

Jay Spencer was a respected freelance news photographer working with the Miami News and Palm Beach Post at the time, so it\'s likely that this photo was taken during one of JFK\'s Presidential visits to his Palm Beach family estate and oceanfront \"Winter White House\".

A cigar aficianado, Kennedy smoked as many as 4 or 5 a day, according to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. With a clear preference for Cuban cigars, it is said that JFK secured 1200 Petit Upmanns the night before signing the Cuba Trade embargo.
