Forsale KALIMAN n.º 215, published in Colombia by GRECO Grupo Editor inthe 60s (Copyright says 1965, but I guess this is from some yearsafter that). Kaliman was a character and comic book from Mexico, butit also was printed in Colombia. These issues became famous becauseafter a legal fight against Marvel Comics upon the name of “ElHombre Increible”, the owners of this publication decided to cribin vengeance some of Marvels characters and art to put them in thecover of their own magazines. They made it JUST for the COVER, andthe interiors ARE NOT related to Marvel Comics or their characters atall. These small comic books were also sold in Venezuela, Ecuador,Chile and Bolivia. This number features three bootlegs of Marvel’sThe Thing fighting against Kaliman.They are small sized,around 13,4 x 20,50 cm (around 5.25 x 8.07 inches) and the interiorswere printed with some kind of brown ink and no color (see pictures)They are 32 pages long.

This is a good looking copy, with some obvious defects too. Iwould grade it around 5.0 or VG/FN

There was not a great tradition on protecting and preserving comicbooks in Spain or Latin America, so these are quite difficult to findin high grade.
