D2 - a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high 13.0% chromium (Cr) content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Blade - drop point type, finished with a scratch-masking and anti-reflection Bead Blasted finish. The long cutting edge with a prominent belly converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade\'s opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick front flipper (index-finger front flipper).
