Up for your consideration is a a beautiful gold gilt over bronze Art Nouveau jewelry box/casket dresser box.
Beautiful floral rose design on top.
It is marked 1070 on the bottom.
Color of the silk lining is a pretty pale blue which is in good condition for the age but is not perfect.
The condition is good to the very good side of fair with signs of minor wear and oxidation.
The hinge is broken.
This is being sold as a very pretty decor piece, it can definitely still be used but the lid will need to be lifted off.

As in almost all vintage items this piece has signs of wear, with some possible scratches and scuffs. All of these things added together is what makes these vintage pieces so attractive to us. It takes us back to an earlier, simple time, when things were not throwaway and disposable. reclaim-bring it back home. repurpose-chances are it won\'t be used in its original form, the possibilities of use are only limited by your imagination. reuse-too much from our lives is throwaway. We need to find new and creative ways to reuse, so we do not completely drown in the disposable:)
