Steuben Iridescent Gold Aurene and Calcite Glass Bowl, from 1905-1932 era. Beautiful iridescent gold aurene glass finish to the interior with a calcite exterior, the aurene gold with such fiery color, lots of pinks and apricots in the light. Measures 10" in diameter x 2.5" height. Weighs 2 pounds and then some on the scale. There’s so much nuanced gold color in the aurene gold! I see marigold and tangerine, even a hint of a pinkish hue in the sunlight. Has minimal wear to the calcite base. See all photos! I tried to capture this in photographs from every angle.
