This is a great condition vintage Lava Lamp from the 90s with black matte midnight paint. It’s the aristocrat model at 16.5” tall with the starlite base. It also has the original twist off globe with yellow wax and purple liquid that creates a spectacular sunset color combination. It functions well as shown. The flow tends to take about 2-3 hours after the initial 2 hours melting time to really take off which is typical for this era of lamps. It needs the proper amount of heat to really flow. If there is a fan / ac vent / room far colder than 72F, the lamp won’t achieve the desired flow very fast.

In the pictures you will notice ‘floaters’ or little lava pieces floating around - this is normal for old lamps from all eras. They even show this phenomenon on original box artwork. The floaters are not a malfunction and also do not take away from the true beauty of this vintage lava lite.

The globe has a few scratches around the bulge of the globe near the base. This is typical wear on a lamp of this age. When the lamp gets more hot, the scuff marks are less visible.

The base and top are in great condition with no notable signs of wear aside from one small dent that can only be seen under a light. The bottom felt and cord are in good condition. The cord and inline roller switch work perfectly.
