Here’s a real dandy! I had Jason over at Lester River Bushcraft work his magic on a new Ontario JPSK. He started off by grinding flats onto the stacked leather washer handle to provide for a more ergonomic and slimmer profile. Then he recontoured the blade into a more usable convex grind with a slight secondary bevel. Then he completely reshaped the point to a more useful simple drop with a spot for striking a fire steel. And finally he removed the rear guard allowing the user to chime up higher on the blade for more control. I added several coats of Obenaug’s Leather Preservative and here it is! Complete with original sheath, but not the sharpening stone.

The last pic shows it lying next to a Camillus from 1984 in original configuration for comparison. Camillus is NOT included.

I’ve used it just once and carried it in my pack a few times, so other than a few scratches & minor dings here and there, it’s essentially new. Super neat!
