LIZZIE BORDEN. Ink signature of, “Lizbeth A. Borden,” in her hand (see: SPECIAL NOTE below), clipped from a prayer book, measures 3\" by 2.25\" inches, and in good condition with light staining and soiling.
This is the first time this ultra-rare item is being offered from a private collection in more than 30 years. Originally obtained from a professional Boston autograph collector.
Archivally framed with photograph of subject. Overall dimensions: 17\" by 11.5\".
SPECIAL NOTE re. \"Lizabeth\": This is to confirm how after the 1893 trial, Lizzie and her sister Emma relocated to a grander, contemporary house in the more exclusive Fall River area known as The Hill.
