The person I purchased this from told me this story
He made lasers in the 1980\'s
He purchase this from the famous Black Hole in Los Alamos New Mexico/ the best surplus store ever
He stated that it was worth a small fortune-$50,000.00 Range-Maybe a story-Los Alamos-Possibly true
Stated that the copper mirror was dynamited onto the metal base and that it would impossible to take the copper off the base
Stated that the copper was 99.995 oxygen free when made
This item weights 32.2 lbs and is very heavy for what it is

I have looked on the net and yes I can find copper laser mirrors but none like this
