This listing is for an antique Lot of 4 Ambrotype & Ferrotype antique photographs, featuring portraits of families from the 1800s. All the people are in Fashionable dress from the period, showing a victorian influence on American fashion of the time, some appear to be mourning outfits and may have been meant for memento mori related items. There are men, women, and children. Many wear jewelry in addition to their nicely patterned / accentuated outfits. Persons ages vary. They are all in little paper frames from various photographers, all in PA. They come from the same estate in central PA, and may be related. I am not sure which are ambrotypes & which are ferrotypes- I am going based off labels I found on two of them in the estate. One is a print card antique copy. Based on dates found on some from the same lot- they appear to be from the 1860s-70s. Please feel free to check out the multiple other ferrotype/ ambrotype & print card lots I will be listing. A great lot for collecting, display / decor, art / jewelry projects, framing, gifting, and much more.

They are in good antique condition, with no major damage. Some have some light areas of wear - some bends light raised areas etc- but no major flaking rust or damage. I have not removed any of them from their original paper matte/ frame pieces. Paper has some aging, one more than others but the rest appear to be solid.
