Up for sale is a lot of four (4) neat vintage postcards, all related to the ANZAC Memorial, located in Sydney, Australia. These postcards were published by The Limbless Soldiers Association, and - perhaps - were sold to raise funds for veterans who had had amputations as a result of their service in World War I. The lot includes ALL of the following:

Card #1 (of 4): The Bronze Group of Sculpture, Symbolising Sacrifice, ANZAC Memorial,Sydney, N.S.W.
Card #2 (of 4): The ANZAC Memorial, West Front, Sydney, N.S.W.
Card #3 (of 4): The Symbolical Wreath Carved From Sold Marble, Surrounding the Well of Contemplation, ANZAC Memorial, Sydney, N.S.W.
Card #4 (of 4): Section of Bronze and Relief Showing Infantry - Western Front, ANZAC Memorial, Sydney, N.S.W.

On the back of each card, near the bottom appears the following:
Published by the Limbless Soldiers Association, N.S.W.By Permission of the Trustees of the ANZAC MemorialThe ANZAC Memorial was built to honor the Australian Imperial Force of World War I. Fundraising for the structure began on April 25, 1916, the first anniversary of the landing, on Anzac Cove, during the Battle of Gallipoli, of the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps). The Memorial was dedicated on November 24, 1934 by Prince Henry, the Duke of Gloucester. ANZAC Day is still celebrated as a holiday, each April 25 in both Australia and New Zealand.
The Limbless Soldiers Association was founded about 1915 to provide for the welfare of war amputees. The organization fought to achieve Australian civil service preferences for their members.
The date of these cards is not given. I imagine they are from the 1930s but cannot be certain.
These post cards are of standard size. They are postally unused and are in excellent, but notperfect, condition. Please see above for details on condition and for photos. Sold as is.
