Up for offer is a beautiful vintage Easter postcard. On the front is a lovely lithographic illustration of a cross covered with lovely blue forget-me-nots. It\'s decorated with beautiful pure-white lilies. (see image 1)What makes this card very special is that when you hold it up to a lighted lamp, the light shows through the rays projecting from the cross. If you look closely you can see how the they\'ve been die cut to allow for the illumination. Notice the rays projecting from it (see supersized image 2). This very special hold-to-light postcard has not been posted, and has a handwritten 1908 date on its divided back. (see image 3)What a lovely, unique and scarce 110 year-old postcard! Up for offer is a beautiful vintage Easter postcard. On the front is a lovely lithographic illustration of a cross covered with lovely blue forget-me-nots. It\'s decorated with beautiful pure-white lilies. (see image 1)

What makes this card very special is that when you hold it up to a lighted lamp, the light shows through the rays projecting from the cross. If you look closely you can see how the they\'ve been die cut to allow for the illumination. Notice the rays projecting from it (see supersized image 2).

CONDITION: Expected light soiling with slight corner blunting. A bit of surface and edge wear. No creases, rips or stains. Some small handwriting at the upper and lower-right edges. Clear image and vivid colors. This 110 year-old paper antique presents beautifully.
