Please note, this will be the last kit we will have for a while, we have been able to sell off a good bit of our extra parts , both on and to our customer base..... So if you want a nice kit, this will be the last one we will have on here for quite a while....Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This sale is for a complete set of parts , minus the receiver , for you to build a nice M1 Garand.... All the parts have been gauged and inspected.... no junk or worn out parts... a very nice set of parts to build an M1 Garand... I think if you add up what each part costs , here on , you will be over 1100.00 easily, So we have tried to set the price at a fair point......Thanks!!!!
- The stock is a nice Post War walnut stock with matching color walnut handguards..Has the 1/2\" DOD stamp
- The op rod is the 65 SA
- the gas cylinder is the wide base, WW II version with the dimple..
- Nice SA 12 trigger housing
- A T105 rear sight complete
- The barrel is an SA 5 of 64, nice clean bore, good muzzle as well, Throat is a 2.5 and the muzzle is a 2.0, so really nice barrel..
- recoil spring, with a long fork follower
- the 4 internal parts and pin, follower assembly is a 12
- flat lower band with spring pin.
- Bolt is a 12 SA
- Clip Latch , early version with the round front...
- Lock is the bevel type, screw is marked Mar-10-24 at 06:10:03 PDT, seller added the following information:
Just some extra info, starting with my Father, we have been doing this for about 60 years, he was a Marine Scout Sniper in WW II , in the Pacific.... He started the shop before I was born... So we have been doing this for a very long time... with his passing, I kept the shop running for some time, but as I am getting older and less able to do the restorations, at least on the scale we were doing...it is time for me to start selling off some of the parts and doing it in kit form, just makes the most sense.... So these are parts that we have in inventory for doing our restorations...not junk parts.... Just wanted to put a little history with the sale of the kits.......Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
