We are delighted to offer this polished brass, piano or desk lamp from the Laurel Lamp Mfg. Company, Newark, NJ. The lamp features a brass column that rises from the marble base, and is shaped like a lyre or harp. The brass column curves at the top and connects to the shade. The shade is adjustable. The base of the lamp is a 5 1/4" square of black marble set within a brass rim. The lamp has non-scratch felt on the bottom and a functioning and intact electrical cord. The original manufacturer's tag is inside the shade and indicates the manufacturer and includes this information: 'A.C. only 118 V 60 cyc .18 amp.' The shade measures 12 1/4" long x 2 1/8" wide and has a push-button off/on switch. The lamp measures approximately 16 1/4" to the push-button at the top of the shade. It is in good working condition. An appropriate functioning bulb will accompany the lamp. The bulb is used and we are not sure how much life it has left. While the lamp is gently used, the brass shade has scratches across the front and there are blemishes to the marble base.
