This sale find listing is for a Central Oil Co. Pegasus cloth banner, most likely linked to a Mobil Station. The banner is approximately 8-1/4\" x 9\". We do not have an age or date on this banner, nor do we have a definite location of the Central Oil Co. therefore we are not referring to it as vintage. However, we did find a company that did make banners similar to this with the Pegasus back in the 40s. Their banners also used a raised red velvet for the Pegasus (research indicated it could be either flocked or velour). In this case, the border, oil company name and Pegasus are all in this red velvet material. And since there were a couple of folds in the fabric, we\'re guessing this piece has been stored away for years; thus, the reason why it appears near new. Even though we have mentioned the era of the 40s, there is no way for us to verify this is or was made during that time period.
