Barrel diameter: approx. 13 mmBased on the 14K markings, all gold nib, two-tiered ebonite core, grey ink window, plastic piston, and anchor-shaped clip, it is believed to have been made between the late 1970s and 1983.This is a popular all-gold nib vintage pen with a soft writing feel.
The piston is good and the inside is clean.
I definitely recommend using color ink for bold text. The thicker the line, the brighter the ink, so it's a waste to only use black. It's also a good idea to make it look a little calligraphic.This is a must-buy MONTBLANC 146. I would like to have one.
