Mary Blair was a prominent American artist and animator who made significant contributions to the Disney Company during its golden age. Born in 1911, Blair grew up in Oklahoma and showed an early interest in art. She studied at the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles and later worked for the Walt Disney Studios in 1940. During her time at Disney, Blair worked on several classic animated films such as "Saludos Amigos," "The Three Caballeros," and "Peter Pan."Blair's most notable contributions to Disney, however, came from her imaginative and colorful concept artwork.
