AUTHENTIC PAIR, AS FOUND TOGETHER - THIS PAIR OF ANIMALIER HORSE SCULPTURES ARE*NOT IDENTICAL BREEDS OF HORSE*, HOWEVER - BY THE SAME ARTIST & FOUNDRY - PLEASE NOTE THE HORSES ARE OF DIFFERENT BREEDS & LIKELY CREATED AT THE SAME TIME BY THE ARTIST SOME TIME IN THE MID 1800\'s. MAGNIFICIENT THAT THEY HAVE STAYED TOGETHER FROM OVER A CENTURY AGO!

- BOTH ARE SIGNED \"FRATIN\" IN THE GRASS AREA OF THE BASE-PLATES AND BOTH BASES ARE MARKED / ETCHED ON THE BASE-PLATE EDGES: \"De Braux Fr.\" for Debraux D\'Anglure, one of a handful of Parisian foundries Fratin is recorded to have worked with during his lifetime and an early founder for Barye\'s work as well.
- The positioning of both the Fratin & De Braux Fr. signatures are in slightly different areas on each of the sculptures. Please examine all photos in the listing
- Each measure approximately 7.25\" Length, by 2.5\" Wide, by about 7\" Height
CONDITION: OVERALL GOOD. THESE ARE AUTHENTIC HAND-MADE ARTISAN ITEMS. I HAVE NOT WASHED, CLEANED, OR POLISHED THEM. THEY STILL SHOW DUST BUILDU-UP IN THE CREASES & CREVICES. THEY SHOW NORMAL / NATURAL AGED TARNISH OR PATINA ON THE BRONZE FINISH. PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PHOTOS FOR BEST DETAILS.
