This is a rare and highly collectible WORLD WAR II comic book, Mystery Comics #2 from 1944, featuring the legendary superhero, Brad Spencer aka Wonderman, as well as The Magnet, King of Futuria, and Zudo Jungle Boy.

Cover art and interior story and art by famous ALEX SCHOMBURG as well as Robert Stanwood, Ken Battlefield, and Ed Good.

The cover shows Wonderman defending a beautiful scantily clad brunette damsel in distress in a red dress chained to a column from Hooded German Soldiers with a flame thrower. Fantastic World War II wartime comic cover pitting Wonderman against the evil sadistic flame throwing Germans. This is a classic cover you need to complete your Golden Age War collection.

The colorful illustrations and action-packed storyline make this a must-have for any serious collector of US Comics from the Golden Age of superheroes. The single issue format, first printing, and grade of 3.0 Good/Very Good all add to the value of this vintage comic.

The publisher, Best Syndicated Features, did an excellent job of creating a thrilling adventure for general audiences in this series title. The comic book is in acceptable condition and is a single unit sale. The publication year is 1944, and it is a part of the Best Syndicated Features universe. This comic book is perfect for collectors of World War II comic books and memorabilia, comics, and graphic novels.

Front cover shows wear from lots of reading.

Upper right corner of front cover is missing. Very small part of bottom left corner of cover is missing. Hardly noticeable.

Top staple is attached to front cover but bottom staple is not attached but still in the rest of the comic book. Back cover is attached but slightly torn where attached to both staples.

On first page, slight water spots upper right corner and bottom left corner.

Small tear page 23 upper left corner.

Page 26 small tears.

Big Tear—Half page missing at Pages 33/34 in King of Futuria story.

48 pages plus covers.
