I am listing many Franklin Mint, Danbury Mint and other high quality diecast models. Some are rare limited editions. I recently purchased another collection and I will be listing them a few at a time over the next few weeks.
I inspect each model carefully and include many photos to show the item from all sides.
This is a 1:10 scale limited edition Franklin Mint Collectible. I believe it is #072 of 9900 made, but it might be #972. See photo of box as it is hard to determine the hand written number. It is in excellent condition still in the factory wrapping. It was stored in its original styrofoam box away from sunlight and dust.I looked it over as closely as possible without unwrapping it, and it is truly beautiful. I see no poor assembly work or missing parts. There are no broken parts, glued on repairs, etc.. I\'ve seen new ones that were damaged and sometimes repaired. The handlebar area is very delicate and sometimes lights, mirrors, and/or hand levers are broken off in shipping or from someone who opens the styrofoam box then closes it carelessly.
The original packing box and mailing box is included along with all the paperwork. The outside mailing box was discarded by the collector and is not included.
To ensure the item gets shipped without damage, the original shipping box will be placed inside a larger box (double boxed) with protective padding around it. I have used this shipping method very successfully for years. I also insure the models for full value just in case a model does get damaged or lost in shipment. Sometimes it cost a bit more topackage and insure the item, but I think it is worth it.
If you purchase more than one item and I can ship them together, I will refund any savings in postage cost back to you through the system.
