Excellent used condition for it\'s age!! I would guess between 40\'s & 60\'s, but there is no mark to determine exact age.

Crude oil has been spilled on one corner of box, as shown in pic... definitely smells like the oil field! I\'m from Texas & have had family & friends that worked in the oil field, so I know that smell.. Lol

I really don\'t know what the purpose of this is but picked it up at an Estate Sale because I thought it was very unique & interesting! I\'m sure it is incomplete, but would make a great display piece for Nostalgia \'s sake.

Top plate & business card attached to inside of box are from Casper, Wyoming.

Has metal feet on bottom of box. Clasps work good & are made so a lock can be attached. Red compartment inside is padded vinyl .
