This is called “Enthroned Madonna” originally done by Andrea Montegna and is in the High Altar of Basilica of San Zeno of Verona in northern Italy. This looks like a print, then hand painted touches on the framed box with gold leaf all over the print and wooden folding box surrounding it also. this piece is a true treasure for any collector of religious icons. The intricate details and craftsmanship are testament to the skill of the artists who created it.
