H.W. Getman 9/26/1886 patent buggy wrench. This is the type with the raised lettering on the underside of the handle, Size indicating number on the side of the open end, the short spring and the small open end is one size instead of being stepped and 2 sizes. We have labeled this type as type 1. I believe we have 7 or 8 types now. All are different in some pretty significant ways. and then there are sizes differences within each type too.

H.W. Getman resided in Ilion, NY at the time of the patent.
