Thisis a beautifully detailed original Wayang Kulit Shadow Puppet from Java (Indonesia). This shadow puppet was originallypurchased in Jakarta in 1966 by my father who was an active antiquecollector during his period as a Junior Foreign Service Officer in the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta. I estimate this Wayang Kulit dates from the early 1900's. The item is in Good to Fine condition
