Original Bavarian M1886/1914 Officer's Pickelhaube.
Black leather with brass trim fittings. Squared front visor. Officer's Bavarian and Reich kokardes. Convex chin-scales, tall fluted spike As pics indicate, the sweatband and liner show use and age, but present. The exterior shows some hairlines (see pics), but shell is solid. One hole behind helmet plate left side plugged/repaired (not visible).
That said. It is still an attractive piece of history.
I have had this helmet in my collection for over 40 years.
