Proudly presented today is this exquisite collection of Pueblo Art, entitled "Pueblo Indian Painting" by Jamake Hightower. This is the Bell Edition, Santa Fe 1979 printing, the exquisite facsimile edition of the French 1932 printing. Limited to 750 copies, the folio comprises 50 flawless lithograph plates, perfectly reproducing the water colors of 1930's Pueblo artists. Each plate is separate and measures 19 3/4 x 15 3/4 inches, printed on the very best artist quality, very heavy stock. Each plate is so faithfully reproduced that it looks like the original water color. Probably, most of the limited printing has long since been broken up into individual pictures. It is rare to see one complete and in perfect condition. This would be a prized possession in any serious collection, and hopefully some day will find its way to a museum.
