Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an exquisite set of vintage atomic era ceramic table lamps complete with their original double-tiered fiberglass shades. Circa '50s. Colors: The lamp bases are pink and dark gray with gold highlighting. The double tiered fiberglass shades are beige in color, and they have a slightly different color beige pattern running throughout (see photos). We are uncertain of the maker - there are no tags or labels visibly present on either of them. This has got to be the cleanest set of 50s lamps that we've come across in a very long time - they've been very well cared for over the years! They'll look fantastic in any modern or atomic-themed interior setting.
Measurements: With the shades attached, each lamp stands approx. 31" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light sockets is approx. 22" high. The round metal base at the bottom of each lampmeasures approx. 5.5" in diameter. The ceramic portion of each base measures approx. 14.5" tall x 5" wide x 5" deep. Each shade measures approx. 10.5" tall. The smaller upper tier of each shademeasures approx. 17" in diameter (measured across the top of that tier), and it tapers down to 15" in diameter (measured at the bottom of that tier). The larger lower tier measures approx. 19" in diameter (measuredacross the top of that tier), and it tapers down to approx. 17" in diameter (measured across the bottom of that tier).
Condition: Both lamps are in excellent condition for their age. The ceramic portions of the bases are free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The brass metal components are also in great shape - no breaks, bends, dents, dings, rust, oxidation, etc. The fiberglass shades are extremely clean and in great shape too - no rips, holes, tears, stains, burn marks, repairs, etc. The lacing appears to be original, and it is intact. The electrical wiring is in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. Both of the lamp are in fully-functioning, working order. We always recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the lamp prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
