Pair of Moriage Hand-Painted Chinese Porcelain Lamps: Floral Bouquets w/Ribbons.

Generous bouquets of pastel tulips, peonies, and other small flowers tied with ribbons ornament the front and rear faces of this set of well proportioned temple jar lamps. Geometric and floral friezes encircle the throats and bases of the jars. The backgrounds of the jars are palest blush pink. Leaf tones are emerald, mint, and sage.

The throat caps and bases are finished in a dark mahogany tone with a polished, lacquer finish. The bases have some touched up blemishes, but minor enough we had difficulty picturing them. The texture and colors of the throat caps are a bit dissimilar , and we have provided photos trying to capture that. Three way sockets are fitted on the lamps, allowing variable light intensity.

Shades shown in the photos ARE AVAILABLE at a nominal charge of $30 plus shipping and taxes. They are too large and delicate to be crated and shipped safely in the same box as the much heavier lamps.

The shades are eight-paneled ivory, shantung-like fabric, hem taped on ribs and edges, and lined in white taffeta.

All lamps and shades we sell are carefully cleaned and sanitized. Cords, plugs, and sockets are inspected carefully and replaced if deficient.

Most of our lamps are vintage or antique, and cannot be replaced. We provide many photographs and try to provide full information about the condition of the listings. Photographs are considered part of the descriptive information for the item listed, so please examine them closely. We will provide additional photos upon request.

Due to the nature of antique and vintage items, there may be blemishes, nicks, or other imperfections consistent with age and use, such as the small marks on the bases.
