Pelikan Souveran M600 Fountain Pen with Dark Blue Barrel, Ag 925 Cap and 18K \"F\" NibI purchased this fountain pen some 15 to 20 years ago and it\'s been in my collection since. It has seen little to no use. The body is a dark translucent blue which lets you see how much ink is available and the cap is made with Ag 925 silver with accents of the body\'s blue material. This design gives the fountain pen and an exceptional handsome, very Pelikan look.
The cap is etched with the words \"Ag 925, Souveran, Germany and Pelikan\". There are some light surface scratches in the silver cap. They may not even show up in the photos. I would think they could be buffed out with a mild silver polish. This pen measures around 5.27 included closed and around 6.06 inches posted. This makes this fountain pen a Pelikan Model M600. The \"F\" nib is the excellent Pelikan 18C 750. The nib is nicely engraved with scroll work and the Pelikan Logo along with the letters \"18C, 750 and F\". With the Ag 925 silver cap, 18K gold nib and gorgeous, translucent resin body, this is certainly one of Pelikan\'s higher end fountain pens. As with most all Pelikan fountain pens, it is piston fill only and does not accept cartridges. As this fountain pen has not been used in many years, it may be a good idea to use a quality fountain pen flush before writing with this pen.
You would be purchasing only the fountain pen and the Pelikan box shown in the photos. This is an older genuine Pelikan box which shows some age, but it is not the original box for this fountain pen. There is no original box, packaging or paperwork available for this specific pen. The ceramic Pelikan display and the acrylic pen display stands are not included.
Please study the photos for best description of the fountain pen and condition. As a long time pen collector, I take great care in how I ship pens. I ship them like I would be the one receiving! Only new shipping boxes are used with the \"box-lock\" method of taping. Quality packing materials are carefully placed to protect the pen during shipment. A fountain pen this nice certainly deserves this level of TLC in transport.
