1840s, sixth-plate daguerreotype of awoman wearing a bonnet, gloves, tinted blue ribbons,and a gold or silver ring. Housed in an excellent leather vase, flowers, grapes case,which I think is attributed to Plumbe, though there is nolabel inside.
Original seals are no longer intact but at some point thedag was resealed with old masking style tape... looks oldand looks like it can be easily removed. The plate is inexcellent condition.. I don\'t see any obvious conditionissues.. there might be a pinprick mat abrasion or twothat I missed, but I don\'t think so. There is a tinyspeck of something on her nose, I can\'t tell what it is,
