August 8, 1913, hand dated real photo postcard showing group of men and women having a picnic. The photo was taken in Sycamore Grove, Los Angeles, California, as is written on the back, of the Venango County (Pennsylvania) bunch of the Penna Society picnic. Also written on the back is the name of one of the man in the photograph.

Postcard has rubber stamp mark of W. H. Ink, Photographer.

The Penna Society was the precursor of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

The postcard is in crisp condition with rather sharp corners. Only a small area of top layer paper loss in top LF corner of image side. No creases, tears or rips. RPPC paper is CYKO brand. SEE SCANS.
