Pre-Civil War Militia Infantry Officers Sword Saber w/Copper Scabbard:

Pre-Civil War Militia Officers Sword with Copper Scabbard. The ricasso is marked with a Kings head for Weyersberg (also a \"38\" or \"58\" under the head), the blade has an extremely faint \"Horstmann\" over a slightly less faint \"Philadelphia\", and the tang has \"A.O.B.\". The wood grip is a replacement, the pommel comes off, and the grip can come out of the crossguard. The chain that connects the pommel to the crossguard is intact and is complete. The etched blade is straight, unsharpened, some medium nicks, and it has age spots scattered throughout. The copper scabbard is solid with some dents/dings, one anti-rattle crease that caused a small hole, and due to the dents/crease the scabbard isn\'t perfectly straight anymore. Length of the blade is 31 1/2\" (1\" wide and 1/4\" thick), the sword is 36 15/16\" and in the scabbard it is 37 3/8\". The tang alone is 5 1/2\". With a little work, this sword could be great again!
