Wonderful comic/risque illustration.- Published by well known Bamforth & Co., \"Comic\" series, #006, printed in England, distributed by Friendly Funnies Co, Venice, Florida. Typically, they present tongue-in-cheek British humor revolving around sex and risque family life. These cards feature well endowed young women, hen pecked husbands and red nosed drunks - all seemingly involved in activity at the beach, hospitals, automobiles, nudist camps or anything where sexual content could be included. In the 1950s, Bamforth postcards were among the most popular of the 18 million purchased at British seaside resorts. James Bamforth founded the business in West Yorkshire at the end of the Victorian era, production was discontinued about 1991.
