Pretty Young Lady Dated March 12, 1853 Identified 1/9 Plate Daguerreotype S501:

This daguerreotype features a pretty young lady wearing a patterned dress, lace gloves, and gold tinted jewelry. The date March 12, 1853 is written inside the case as well as her name but that is difficult to read.

The 1/9 plate is not sealed but there are remnants of the original seals and the half case measures about 2.5 x 3 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself. There are green spots and white stains on the plate.
