These items are from my 52-year accumulation of books, pulps, etc. These are all genuine originals, no reprints or facsimiles.Right up front: NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. I will only ship to your -verified or Paypal-verified address in the United States. Sorry, but I\'ve had too many bad experiences with international shipping. You, or someone at your address, will have to sign for the package upon delivery.Also, I am in the process of moving in with friends at their much nicer house across town, so there may be minor delays in answering questions and getting things shipped. Pulp Magazine: Weird Tales, August 1928. This key issue of WT includes two major first appearances: Solomon Kane by Robert E. Howard, and the first published story (\"The Vengeance of Nitocris\") by American literary giant Tennessee Williams. Essential.
Condition:
Front cover: Both covers are untrimmed and still have their complete edge overhangs (this is a big deal for Weird Tales collectors). Edge wear with short tears and corner creases; a few light stress marks; a faint stain in the logo.
Back cover: Edge wear with short tears in the overhangs; moderate surface soiling and scuffing.
Spine: Still blood-red (another big deal for WT collectors); wear at top and bottom; a short section between \"AUGUST\" and \"WEIRD\" has separated from the glue and puckered.
Pages: Light tan, flexible, and clean.

I haven\'t listed anything on in about 5 years now. I\'ve been letting a couple of \"real\" sale houses (especially a certain giant one in Dallas) sale my things. And I can\'t believe some of the prices I\'ve been getting. Incredible.
But because of some recent sale house policy changes, and now some unpredictable changes to their sale schedules, I\'ve decided to put a few of my better remaining things on once again to see what happens. PACKING:
Books: I ship books in boxes, with plenty of padding.
Pulps: I bag all pulps and include a backer board. For shipping, I’ll sandwich the bagged pulp between oversized pieces of cardboard and ship in either an envelope or a box, depending on the number of pulps and/or the total value.
Combinations: I’ll figure it out.
REFUNDS: I’ve been collecting for more than 50 years now and many of you know me, so I doubt you’ll be disappointed. I check every page of every item before listing. You won’t be surprised by missing pages, big stains, clipped coupons, the wrong back cover, etc. However, if the item has significant defects not noted in the description, you may return it for a refund of your original cost. (Sorry, no partial refunds.) To return an item, you must first notify me through within 7 days of receiving it.
