RARE 1984 West German Type S811 Slip-On Vest Size Large:

Extremely rare Type S811 “Slip-On Vest” made in 1984 by Val. Mehler AG of then West Germany for law enforcement and military.
There is little to no information about this vest online, however, given the date of manufacture, the Arabic instructions printed on the label, and West Germany’s involvement in the Iran-Iraq war, I believe there is a connection to be made.
Made up of a two piece vest with additional neck, groin, deltoid, and forearm protection with pads, inserts, and one plate.
(Arm guards are size S but fit well, and although it can hold 2, the second plate was optional, so this is a complete set. Only condition issue is some faint stains and a small hole in the cover.)
